Dyeing Course at Camijoknit
Would you like to learn how to dye your own yarn? Then you are warmly welcome to a creative day in my dye workshop. I only hold workshops for 5 participants at a time, so there is plenty of time for help and guidance.
We will meet from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Ved Skoven 16K, 8541 Skødstrup. The day begins with an introduction to the process and a demonstration, so you feel well-prepared. After that, you will start dyeing on your own – and I will, of course, be with you all the way.
You will receive 4 skeins of yarn included in the price. If you choose some of the more exclusive bases, there may be a small additional cost. There is also the option to purchase extra skeins if you feel like dyeing more.
All colors will be a little “mini”, and we will swap, so everyone gets a mini to take home from the others – a cozy and colorful reminder of the day.
It might be a good idea to bring some inspiration with you. Perhaps a picture of some colors you love, or something that has caught your attention – a painting, a flower, a bird, your favorite colors… Anything that can give you a direction when choosing colors.
Remember to bring a packed lunch – we will have a communal break in the middle of the day. There is free coffee all day, and soft drinks can be purchased. There is also space to sit and knit and enjoy along the way.
As a participant, you will also receive a 10% discount on all my yarns and patterns that day.
